PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound collector suitable to highly accurately perform acoustic analysis. SOLUTION: The sound collector is provided with a sound collecting hood in which a sound reflection inner wall is formed like a rotational surface having an opening and a focal point further backward than this opening is provided at an inner space, a microphone in which at least a sound receiving surface is disposed so that the sound receiving surface faces forward in the sound collecting hood to receive sound waves incident into the sound collecting hood, and a sound absorbing body formed in a shape surrounding an incident passage so that a sound incident passage into a sound receiving surface may be formed in the front of the sound receiving surface.
