PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shock-absorbing material which has a weakly bonded portion with the bonding strength of a bonded portion being locally weakened, is broken at the weakly bonded portion when the external force of a predetermined value or more is applied thereto, and absorbs the external force by extracting sealed air, and also absorbs an impact force even after the weakly bonded portion is broken. SOLUTION: A shock-absorbing material X comprises a body 10 with air sealed therein, and auxiliary pockets 23 provided on the inner side of the body 10. The auxiliary pockets 23 have a passage P facing the outside air.
