PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide powdered tea emitting plant flavor, obtained by drying green tea and plants such as herbs having stronger flavor than that of the green tea through pulverization utilizing high-speed swirl airflow to reduce moisture content so as to become homogeneous fine particles to make plant flavor adhere to the green tea powder even when using only a small amount of the plants. SOLUTION: The green tea powder is obtained through the following process: mixing green tea leaves manufactured from original tea with a small amount of dried plants such as herbs; and pulverizing the mixture utilizing high-speed swirl airflow to reduce moisture content in the mixture to obtain dried homogeneous fine particles. Through such a process, deterioration in color of the green tea is inhibited and the same flavor as that of plants such as herbs is emitted without spoiling active ingredients of the green tea and the plants such as herbs.
