<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light pickup device capable of suppressing deterioration in the performance of spherical aberration correction even if the light pickup device receives an impact. <P>SOLUTION: In the light pickup device 1: a guide section 23 to which a second spherical aberration correction lens 7 and a lens retention section 21 for retaining a first spherical aberration correction lens 6 are fitted and a driving means 13 are fixed to a housing 15, by adjusting the inclination of the first and second spherical aberration correction lenses 6, 7 to an optical axis 12 and a relative position, while the driving means 13 is integrated with the guide section 23; and the integration of the driving means 13 and the guide section 23 is released while they are being fixed to the housing 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
