<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intelligent WCDMA (Wideband-Code Division Multiple Access) channel retrieving apparatus and method for allowing a mobile terminal to retrieve an optimized channel in a WCDMA network. <P>SOLUTION: The intelligent WCDMA channel retrieving apparatus includes: a baseband unit 100 for processing a baseband signal transmitted/received by a mobile terminal; a table unit 120 for recording and storing the number of times of occupying each channel by configuring all the channels allocated to a WCDMA system into a table; a control unit 110 for retrieving a channel having the highest number of times of occupation on the basis of data stored in the table part 120 and selecting a communication channel according to priority; and a radio frequency unit 130 for transmitting/receiving communication signals through the channel selected by the control part 110. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
