PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire detector which can monitor a wide range including a high-level radiation zone with a few fire sensors, expand a shielding wall for shielding the fire sensors from radiation and detect failures in a suction fan for guiding the air and smoke in the high-level radiation zone and the like to the fire sensors outside the zone when the failures occur. SOLUTION: The fire detector is located in the high-level radiation zone. The radiation shielding wall 10 is formed near the fire sensors 15 and the suction fan 5 is placed in a case 3 where the fire sensors 15 are located to suck the air in the high-level radiation zone into the case 3.
