PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To launch skyrockets to an arbitrary direction in a safe manner in a skyrocket launcher for repelling beasts and birds using the skyrockets. SOLUTION: A skyrocket launching rod 23 is formed in a rod-like shape, at least one tip end of which is formed into a cylinder 27. The launching rod 23 penetrates through a refractory protective plate 25 which is tightly fixed in a position near the tip end P of this launching rod 23. The protective plate 25 has a funnel-like shape so that its peripheral part approaches the cylinder 27 of the launching rod 23. A user allows the cylinder 27 of the launching rod 23 to support a skyrocket, grasps the launching rod 23 on its another end side, directs the skyrocket to an arbitrary direction, and then can launch the skyrocket.
