PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology for suppressing the deposition of liquid fuel on a bore wall face, in a diesel engine with an intake port injector. SOLUTION: The diesel engine 1 comprises two intake ports 6a, 6b provided for every cylinder 4 and an intake port injector 12 provided in one intake port 6a out of the two intake ports 6a, 6b. A plurality of holes 10 are formed in a portion on the wall face of one intake port 6a with which fuel collides so that intake air flowing in the other intake port 6b flows through the plurality of holes 10 into one intake port 6a.
