PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drainage canal attached log grating crib method having both the stability and greening of a slope capable of promoting the effective use of lumber from thinning, and facilitating a harmony with the natural environment such as slight warmth or the like peculiar to a log and connecting the log to construct a grating crib in a method for filling the inside of a grating frame with soil dressing or comtemplating the greening by spraying a growth base material suitable for the growth of plants after the lumber from thinning or the log has been built up in the shape of a grating frame. SOLUTION: The drainage canal attached log grating crib method is so constituted such that each of recessed channel ways 2 is formed on the surface of the log 1 cut into a predetermined length (L or L') along the longitudinal direction, a rhombic grating having an interior angle making a right angle is formed of the log, at the same time, the recessed channel ways 2 and 2 of the connecting end faces of a log intersection C of each rhombic grating are made to face each other so as to coincide with each other, log-fixing and standing-up piece 4 attached mounting plates 3 are arranged to the bottom of the log intersection, and that the mounting plates are fixed to the inclined ground B with an anchor 6 or a lock bolt 6'.
