PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide shoe of an elevator for facilitating guide shoe abrasion amount inspection. SOLUTION: The guide shoe 2 disposed in a lifting car 4 guided by a guide rail 1 is provided with an abrasion amount inspection hole 2c that has a tip inside at a predetermined interval from the sliding contacting surface and is penetrated when the sliding surface of the guide shoe 2 exceeds a certain abrasion amount.
