PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold adaptor capable of performing a gas assist injection molding method without remodeling an existing mold assembly or an injection cylinder. SOLUTION: The mold adaptor 30 is used in an injection molding machine constituted of the mold assembly 20 equipped with an injection cylinder 10, a fixed mold part 21 and a movable mold part 25 and equipped with the molten resin receiving part 31 connected to the nozzle head part 13A of the injection cylinder 10, the molten resin discharge part 33 connected to the molten resin introducing part 22 of the fixed mold part 21, a molten resin flow channel 32 for connecting the molten resin receiving part 31 and the molten resin discharge part 33, a molten resin discharge part on-off means 34 having a pressurized fluid introducing part 36 arranged in the molten resin flow channel 32 for opening and closing the molten resin discharge part 33 and a heating means 37 for heating the molten resin flow channel 32.
