PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute the adjustment of a knob without seeing a cross reference table for converting a groove depth code to a groove depth of a key groove when a duplicate key is manufactured. SOLUTION: The duplicate key cutting machine is provided with a cutting blade 2 of a key material (A) and a coping mechanism 6 provided with a coping piece 60 for tracing the key groove of a key model (C). The key material (A) and the key model (C) are integrally reciprocated in the forward/backward directions and its orthogonal direction to the cutting blade 2 and the coping piece 60. The coping mechanism 6 includes a support frame for supporting the coping piece 60 in the forward/backward directions so as to be capable of reciprocating, a spring for energizing the coping piece 60 toward the key model (C), a stopper for stopping the retreat of the coping piece 60, the knob, which is operated for setting the position of the stopper corresponding to the groove depth of the key groove to be cut, and a gauge showing an operation amount of the knob.
