PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently secure a space for the maintenance of a device by moving a control panel provided to the rear part of a base in the forward/backward directions or in the vertical direction of the device. SOLUTION: A main spindle 20 and a motor 24 for the main spindle are mounted to the front wall 11 of the base 10. An X-axis slide 30 and a motor 45 for the X-axis slide are mounted on the upper face of the base 10. A Z-axis slide 50 and a motor 62 for the Z-axis slide are mounted to the front wall of the X-axis slide 30. A turret base 66 and a motor 68 for the turret base are mounted to the lower face and the upper face of the Z-axis slide 50. The control panel 75 for controlling each motor 24, 45, 62, and 68 are erected to the rear part of the base 10. The control panel 75 is mounted to the base 10 via a control panel moving mechanism 80. The control panel moving mechanism 80 moves the control panel 75 during the maintenance to a maintenance work position located at a position apart in the front and rear directions from a normal use position.
