PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost of a spring manufacturing machine. SOLUTION: A second bending die mounting slide 32 on the upper side is connected, in motive power, to a first bending die mounting slide 11 through a mechanical power transmission mechanism 35. By means of this mechanism 35, if the slide body 12 of the first bending die mounting slide 11 recedes from a wire machining space 5, the second bending die mounting slide 32 on the upper side also recedes from the space 5, and then, if the former approaches the space 5, the latter also approaches the space 5.
