PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a stable transfer of a disk and a cartridge by transfer means suitable respectively for them in a disk loading device arranged so that a slot-in of the disk and the cartridge housing the disk therein is made from a common opening part. SOLUTION: The device is constituted in such a manner that a roller 4 is prepared as the transfer means of the disk 1 and a slide member 25 is prepared as the transfer means of the cartridge 15. When the disk 1 is inserted, the roller 4 is pressed in contact with the disk 1 to transfer it with the rotation, and when the cartridge 15 is inserted, a changeover lever 21 is abutted on an end face of the cartridge 15 to depress and release the roller 4 with a changeover arm. Further, an engagement member 26 is engaged with a groove at the side surface of the cartridge 15 to transfer the cartridge by making it to slide with the slide member 25.
