<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a start controller of a vehicle prohibiting the shift operation to an instructed shift stage when the stop state of the vehicle is not secured when the instruction for change of the start stage of a transmission is given in waiting for starting. <P>SOLUTION: In this start controller of the vehicle, the shift operation of the transmission mounted on the vehicle is performed by a shift actuator. The start controller comprises a start state change instruction means instructing the change of a specified start stage, a brake operation detection means detecting the operation of the brake of the vehicle, and a control means controlling the shift actuator based on detection signals from the start stage change instruction means and the brake operation detection means. When the control means receives an instruction for change of the start stage from the start stage change instruction means, the control means controls the shift actuator to change the shift to a shift stage instructed to change only when the operation of a brake is detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
