<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent binary data recorded in a two-dimensional code from being erroneously recognized as text data. <P>SOLUTION: A portable terminal 100 acquires a two-dimensionally coded image, and displays data recorded in the image. The portable terminal 100 decides whether or not data to be displayed are binary data based on an identifier added to the binary data by a data identifying part 104. When the data are binary data, a binary data classification deciding part 105 decides the classification of the binary data. When the binary data can be reproduced by the portable terminal 100 as the result of the decision, a control part 101 of the portable terminal 100 makes the portable terminal 100 reproduce the binary data, and when the binary data can not be reproduced by the portable terminal 100, the control part 101 controls the portable terminal 100 not to reproduce the binary data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
