<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent positive electrode material for lithium secondary battery which improves the low-temperature load characteristics of a battery and also improves the coating performance at the manufacture of the positive electrode. <P>SOLUTION: In the measurement by a mercury pressure filling method, the following condition (A) is made to be satisfied, and at least one condition out of a condition (B) and a condition (C) is made to be satisfied. Condition (A): in the mercury pressure filling curve, the amount of pressure filling of mercury at the time of boosting from a pressure 50 MPa to 150 MPa is 0.02 cm<SP>3</SP>/g or lower. Condition (B): in the mercury pressure filling curve, the amount of pressure filling of mercury at the time of boosting from a pressure 50 MPa to 150 MPa is 0.01 cm<SP>3</SP>/g or higher. Condition (C): the average pore radius is 10 nm or larger and 100 nm or lower, and the pore distribution curve has a main peak having a peak top at the pore radius 0.5 μm or larger and 50 μm or smaller and a sub peak having a peak top at the pore radius 80 nm or more and 300 nm or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
