BAG MAKING APPARATUS HAVING STREAK FORMING MECHANISM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bag making apparatus having a streak forming mechanism which forms a streak without hurting a film.

SOLUTION: The film is passed through an angular bag making tube 2 into an angular tube. A projection 13 for forming the streak in the angular part of the bag making tube is formed. An emphatic projection 20 projecting further from the projection 13 is formed to form the sharp streak in the film. A press guide 15 is formed on the short side 2b of the bag making tube 2 having the emphatic projection 20 to press the film. Back plates are arranged on the long side 2a with the emphatic projection held between them to press the film. An L-shaped (in plane view) corner heater 23 is set non-contactwise at a position opposite the emphatic projection 20. By irradiating the film streak on the emphatic projection 20 with the radiation heat of the corner heater 23. The streak is plastic-deformed to be fixed. Since both sides of the streak of the film are covered with the press guide 15 and the back plate, the film is protected from the radiation heat.
