<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coffee/tea bag extracting utensil which has a high extraction efficiency and is ready to serve a tasty coffee or tea. <P>SOLUTION: This coffee/tea bag extracting utensil is equipped with a bag-like filter section (12) which houses an article to be extracted, keeps the upper end open, and a cylindrically expanded aeration section (14) which keeps the upper end (14a) and the lower end (14b) open. The lower end of the aeration section is bonded to the upper end of the filter section, and the aeration section is used not only as an aeration port but also as a handle at the time of extraction. Also, a dedicated handle (16) which is used at the time of extraction is attached to the aeration section.
