<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronous motor driving gear control method that performs appropriate control, even if a synchronous motor that is driven with variable speed via an inverter is stalled. <P>SOLUTION: The temperatures Tj at the junction portions of IGBTs that constitute the inverter 11 are obtained from an element loss operating circuit 28 and an element temperature operating circuit 30, that constitutes the synchronous motor driving gear 20. When stalling of a synchronous motor 3 is detected by a stall detecting circuit 31, the current from the inverter 11 to the synchronous motor 3 is made limited via an inverter control circuit 24 by either one of current limit commanding circuits 21 to 23, in such a way that the temperatures Tj at the junction portions do not exceed the permissible temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
