PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet head unit which improves the manufacturing efficiency of an inkjet head unit, and consequently can suppress manufacturing costs of an inkjet printer, and to provide a manufacturing method for an inkjet head unit. SOLUTION: The inkjet head unit 2 which consists of a plurality of inkjet heads 20 for discharging ink to a recording medium 13, and the manufacturing method for the inkjet head unit are provided. The inkjet head which includes an inkjet head chip 32 with ink discharge openings at a leading end face, an ink feeding passage 30 for guiding the ink to the inkjet head chip, and an ink filter 31c set in the ink feeding passage is formed.
