<p>A vacuum cleaner, comprising an adding means for adding antimicrobial substances to a floor surface, wherein silver ions and zinc ions as metal ions having antimicrobial composition can be considered as the antimicrobial substances. The adding means further comprises a solvent tank (23), spray part (16) spraying a solvent supplied from the solvent tank (23) on the floor surface, and an addition part (ion generating part (25)) generating the antimicrobial substances and adding the antimicrobial substances in the solvent sprayed from the spray part (16) on the floor surface. Since the adding means adds the antimicrobial substances to the floor surface, antimicrobial treatment is applied to the floor surface. Also, by the operation of an electric blower (21), the solvent (including the antimicrobial substances) supplied to the floor surface as well as air on the floor surface are sucked and accumulated in a cyclone dust collector (22) as a storage part. Thus, since the solvent added with the antimicrobial substances is at least accumulated in the storage part, the breeding of microbe in the storage part can be suppressed by the antimicrobial substances and the occurrence of odor in the storage part can be suppressed.</p> |
