Utility vehicle steering device comprises an electromechanical power-assisted booster device suitable for the predominant time portion of the vehicle operation. The booster device consists of an electric motor (17) and a gearing-down gear (18). The torque of the motor is transferred via the gear to a rotatably mounted shaft (13). Only the torque support of the electromechanical power-assisted booster device is connected up to a specific torque acting between a steering wheel (29) and a steering lever (32).
