1,113,174. Multiplex pulse code signalling. TELEFONAKTIEBOLAGET L. M. ERICSSON. 8 June, 1965 [9 June, 1964], No. 24303/65. Heading H4L. In a p.c.m. t.d.m. receiver in which successive blocks of seven bits, separated by sync bits, are staticized SKA and immediately transferred to a buffer store SKB under the control of the sync bits, locally generated " transfer pulses, of the same frequency as the sync bits, are used to transfer the contents of the buffer store to a main store (not shown), and to avoid errors due to phase drift in the transmission line, the phase of the transfer pulses is periodically changed, when necessary, by four bit periods (four being chosen so as to minimize the number of changes necessary), this being achieved by using, for the transfer pulse the pulse from either position 1 or position 5 of an eight-stage counter RN driven by a local oscillator KL.
|
