<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intersection signal guidance support system capable of announcing voice guidance in accordance with a lighting state of traffic lights. <P>SOLUTION: A camera 10 simultaneously photographs traffic lights 1, 2 installed at an intersection and transmits their video images to a data processor 30 through a video input device 20. The data processor 30 detects lighting states of four areas as red light display areas/green light display areas of the traffic lights 1, a based on individual environmental data 41 prestored in a storage device 40 and the video images photographed by the camera 10 and when the same lighting state is continued for fixed period, transmits a detection result to a signal controller 50 as image recognition information 38. the signal controller 50 creates a voice start instruction by matching the image recognition information 38 to signal control information 54 to be stored by itself and transmits it to a voice broadcasting device 60.
