Round hollow and/or solid bodies of plastic or foamed plastic are mounted on a metal reinforcement and the assembly is placed in a mold allowing concrete to be cast into and around it. The bodies comprise spheres. Reinforcement comprises one or more steel grids or meshes. The round bodies are attached to the reinforcement by fasteners on the latter and are located at a distance from each other. An independent claim is included for a metal reinforced concrete product onto whose reinforcement round hollow and/or solid plastic or foamed plastic spheres are attached.
