The device has a plate (2) that is provided with an orifice (7) that permits insertion and exertion of an object e.g. cosmetic product packing device. The lower side of the plate is connected to a support (3) via deformable connecting unit (5). A space between the plate and the support leads to deformation of the connecting unit so as to form a casing (15) around the object.
