The jaws (6, 6') are adjusted against opposite side flanks of the lower electrode (5), and accommodate its lower face, which interlocks between them. The jaws each have vertical guides (16, 16'), used when adjusting the height of the compression chamber (8). The end face of the upper electrode (9) is adjusted against the jaws, to rest upon them and interlock with them.
