Surprsingly a new blend composition containing (parts by wt.): (A) polyethylene terepthalate (4-80); (B) aromatic polycarbonate, not based on dihydroxydiarylcycloalkane (0-50); (C) polycarbonate different from component B (10-90), based on at least one dihydroxydiarylcycloalkane derivative; (D) an elastic rubber polymerisate (1.5-35); and (E) filler and/or strengthening materials (1.5-54) has impact modifying properties. Independent claims are included for: (1) an automobile body painting process involving one or more steps with painting at a temperature of 120 to 220 deg C; (2) a molding material, molded body, or semi-finished product obtained as above; and (3) a painted automobile body part.
