A dryer for cereals and granular materials in general is described, comprising a drying chamber (2) adapted to contain the cereal to be dried, a heating unit (10) including a burner (11) associated with a combustion chamber (12) for heating a flow of air introduced into said drying chamber (2) for drying the cereal, and also a further chamber (18) disposed within the drying chamber (2) so as to be surrounded by the mass of cereal to be dried. This chamber (18) extends in prolongation of and in communication with the combustion chamber (12) of the heating unit so as to constitute a heat exchange device for heating the drying air. |
