FIELD: railway transport. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed device contains traction motor 1 and gear train transmitting power flow to wheelset furnished with axle boxes. Axle box housing is made in form of beam. Shaft 5 of traction electric motor, and journals of wheelset axle 14 are fitted in beam 8 by means of antifriction bearings 7. Beam 8 is fixed by means of one of brackets of bogie frame axle box pedestal horns. ^ EFFECT: increased service life of gear train of locomotive traction drive. ^ 3 dwg |
