FIELD: load-engaging elements or devices attached to lifting, lowering, or hauling gear of cranes, particularly devices to protect hook mouth against falling out from unloaded rope loop. ^ SUBSTANCE: lock comprises bush-shaped limiter put on rotary console having round cross-section, extension formed on side surface of hook casing and directed in parallel to longitudinal hook axis. One end of the rotary console is connected to bolt-shaped pin directed in parallel to longitudinal axis of hook inserted through extension on side surface thereof. Spring collar arranged between bolt-like pin head and the extension is put on the bolt-like pin. Nuts are arranged on free bolt end. The console has thread to cooperate with limiter bush to be fixed in predetermined position by screw extending through it. The screw retains part for rope loop fixation in predetermined position and to space the rope loop a predetermined distance apart from longitudinal hook axis. ^ EFFECT: increased convenience of lock usage and reduced material consumption. ^ 4 dwg |
