PURPOSE: A refrigerator with an antibacterial duct in a return duct is provided to improve antimicrobial activity of the refrigerator by sterilizing bacteria among cool air into the return duct with nano-silver. CONSTITUTION: A return duct(4) is installed between a lower surface(2b) of a freezer compartment(2) and an upper surface(3a) of a refrigerator compartment(3) of a refrigerator, and composed of plural partition walls(4c) formed vertically on a bottom plate(4b) and arranged in parallel to flow cold air through cold air intake ports(2c,3b) of the refrigerator compartment and the freezer compartment. Antibacterial ducts(10,20) are installed between partition walls of the return duct, and composed of nano-silver and plural partition plates(12,22) vertically and longitudinally arranged in planar members(11,21) to guide cold air through the return duct and to sterilize harmful bacteria among cold air. |
