<p>A method for the manufacture of a concrete pipe, comprising providing inner and outer contiguous, concentric, annular cavities, the inner cavity being defined between an upstanding core element and an upstanding separator element surrounding the core element, the outer cavity being defined between the separator element and an upstanding outer mould element surrounding the separator element; filling the outer cavity with uncured concrete mix to form a concrete layer, and the inner cavity with with curable coating paste to form a coating layer; withdrawing the separator element from between the core and outer mould under conditions which cause the coating layer to come into contact with the concrete layer; and separating the core element and outer mould element from the resultant pipe.</p> |
