<p>A submersible floating seadrome and a method to decrease wind-wave load, this floating seadrome comprises an aircraft landing surface (1) and a main structure beneath the surface, changeable buoyancy compartments and a depth control system. In rough sea conditions, the floating seadrome can give up the normal operation capability and be submerged to reduce the damage of wind-wave load. This invention can ensure the floating seadrome's survival, relieve its weight, reduce the cost of building and operating.</p> |
