Circuit (4) has constant-current circuit (42) with first transistor (Tr1) whose collector is connected to output of rectifier circuit (41). Second transistor (Tr2) has emitter-collector circuit connected between base and emitter of first transistor. Zener diode (Zd) is connected between base of second transistor and load circuit. Output currents of first and second transistors are delivered to load circuit through first resistor (r1). The first resistor is connected between emitter of the first transistor and the load circuit, and a second resistor (r2) is connected between the collector and a base of the first transistor. A third resistor (r3) is connected between an emitter and a base of the second transistor. An independent claim is also included for a circuit interrupter.
