Each wireless communication device (36) receives the assignment message (32) including the first criteria parameter (62) and the location parameter (50), compares the location parameter (50) with a current location (56) using the first criteria parameter (62), transmit a reply (38) to the dispatch center (16) in response to the detection of an affirmative match.
