<p>The invention relates to applied superconductivity and can be used for producing highly loaded superconducting coils for superconducting magnets. The inventive method for producing superconducting coils consists in coating laid side by side turns during the winding thereof with an epoxy resin which contains a finely powdered intermetallic compound exhibiting an abnormally high thermal capacity at low temperatures and at a concentration of 20-50 % by the volume of a liquid epoxy resin mixture and in additionally coating said coated loops with an electrical insulation layer. In order to obtain specifies modes, the coil is provided with cooling channels embodied, for example between turns or between layers according to the structural embodiment. In another variant, the superconducting coils can be also produced, during superconductor winding, by staggeredly wrapping said superconductor by a glass tape which is pre-coated with the resin containing a finely powdered intermetallic compound exhibiting an abnormally high thermal capacity at low temperatures. Said invention makes it possible to improve the performance characteristics of the superconducting coils operating in variable conditions by increasing the resistance thereof to impulse heat liberation associated with high mechanical stresses.</p> |
