MODULAR NAVIGATED PORTAL

A modular portal (10) for use with a computer-aided surgical navigation system. The modular portal is configured to receive a wide number of surgica l items (32) in either rotating or non-rotating fashions. A surgical reference (22) associated with a base (12) of the modular portal may be repositioned with respect to the base to facilitate a clear line of sight between a senso r of the computer-aided surgical navigation system and the surgical reference.
