A method and a device for distilling easily polymerizable compound-containing liquid, the method comprising the step of distilling the easily polymerizable compound-containing liquid while supplying noncondensable gas to pressure detection means connection pipes (4a, 4b) connecting the inside of a distillation tower (2) to gaseous phase pressure detection means (3a, 3b); the device (1) comprising the distillation tower (2) distilling the easily polymerizable compound-containing liquid, the gaseous phase pressure detection means (3a, 3b) detecting the pressure of a gaseous phase in the distillation tower (2), the pressure detection means connection pipes (4a, 4b) connecting the distillation tower (2) to the gaseous phase pressure detection means (3a, 3b), and noncondensable gas supply pipes (5a, 5b) connected to the pressure detection means connection pipes (4a, 4b) to supply the noncondensable gas.
