The machine has a saw and a shaper with respective driven pulleys (160,182) for driving them. A motor controls driving pulleys (150, 152) arranged coaxially along a common motor axis. The driving pulleys are coupled with driven pulleys by using belts (156, 158). The axis of the motor is disposed along a median direction between axes of rotation of the driven pulleys.
