Drug-containing coated microparticles for orally disintegrating tablet, characterized in that in order to, with respect to drugs of highly unpleasant taste, effect satisfactory control of drug elution in the oral cavity and attain rapid drug elution in the digestive tract, microparticles containing a drug of unpleasant taste are covered by a coating comprised of a water insoluble polymer of no pH dependence (1) amounting to 60 to less than 80% in proportion in the coating and a water soluble substance of no pH dependence (2) amounting to more than 20 to 40% in proportion in the coating to thereby cause the ratio of drug elution from drug-containing microparticles to be 0 to 10% in one minute and 80 to 100% in 30 minutes and cause the average particle diameter to 350 mum or less.
