Process for the preparation of a substance capable of activating the fibrinolytic proenzymes present in blood

A substance which activates the fibrinolytic proenzymes in the blood of butchery animals is obtained by extraction of human placenta with an aqueous stabilising medium e.g. containing glycerine and precipitation of a euglobulin-containing fraction at pH 5-6 from the salt-free extract.
