PACKET DISTRIBUTION CONTROL METHOD

摘要

There is provided a packet distribution control method for performing multi-cast communication in a network environment containing networks compatible and not compatible with IP multi-cast. In the packet distribution of the multi-cast communication, each end node checks whether IP multi-cast communication is possible or not possible with another end node. Each end node uses IP uni-cast for packet distribution to another end node which cannot communicate by the IP multi-cast alone.
