Production of animated visual display for representation of speech signals with recognition and transformation of phonemes into video animations

The animated visual display production system has a microphone (8) connected to an audio signal transmission circuit (5) and a phoneme transformation circuit in parallel. The outputs of the two circuits are connected to an avatar representation circuit (4). This circuit is connected to a video monitor (6) and a loudspeaker (7). The phoneme transformation circuit consists of a phoneme recognition circuit (1), a phoneme to visual transformation circuit (2), and a speech animation circuit (3). The complete system transforms human speech into video animations.
