A textile elastic strip or hose/hollow web is made using double needles and has an independently woven skin-compatible lower face. The upper face (O) incorporates a weft pattern. The web has several different coloured weft threads inserted by the same needle in the web outer margin. Also claimed is an automated process to make a commensurate textile elastic strip or hose/hollow web in Jacquard pattern.
