A curved disc (16) is mounted on the sheet guide cylinder shaft (12) via a rotary bearing. A first shift coupling (10) allows the curved disc to be releasably engaged with the rotating sheet guide cylinder (4) via a form-fit connection. A second shift coupling (11) is used to fix the curved disc into position whilst allowing the sheet guide cylinder to rotate. The sheet handler is present in a sheet restraining system associated with a sheet guide cylinder mounted in a side frame and designed to be operated during first printing and perfecting. Each sheet restraining system is controlled by an articulated curve roll via at least one curved disc.
