Workstation and method for protecting operational data of electrical devices

The distributed electrical equipment operating data (DAT1-DAT3) protection method involves a computer station (PC) cyclically determining a currently still available recording duration and establishing a data communication with an electrical unit (G1-G3) to download the operating data before the still available recording duration of the relevant data logger (LOG1-LOG3) expires. An independent claim is also included for a computer station with an interface for data connection to a number of data loggers.
