The system has a transparent cylinder (11) provided with a LED, and a blind (12) providing a canvas (14) movable between a folded position and an unfolded position. The canvas, in the unfolded position, is interposed between the cylinder and a space to be illuminated. The space is at interior of a vehicle. The canvas attenuates, distributes, disperses and/or modulates light produced by the LED. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle equipped with an ambience lighting system. |
